In 1987, The Lost Boys of Sudan walked over 1000 miles for freedom and safety, and now we walk for them. The Annual 5K Walk-A-Thon for the California Sudanese Lost Boys and Girls Foundation is an opportunity for the whole family to learn more about the Lost Boys' journey and raise funds to support 'Awoda,' a K-8 school in South Sudan. Proceeds from the Walk-a-Thon will pay teachers' salaries, uniforms, school supplies, and a much-needed daily meal for the Sudanese students. As the Lost Boys have settled into America, they have not forgotten their people in Sudan, and we hope you join in to help them assist their Sudanese friends and family.
