😺Meow and welcome to Whiskers' second annual online auction!!😺

Whiskers-Utah is a non-profit organization dedicated to minimizing the euthanasia of high-risk pets in Utah. Whiskers is a 100% volunteer run, foster-based organization founded in 2018.

Over the years, we have stepped up for countless cats who would have never received that second chance without Whiskers. To date, we have rescued over 700 high-risk feline friends including seniors, medical cases, special needs and behavioral kitties and when needed, provided a final, comfortable place for some to call home. We never waiver in our dedication to support their needs.

Whiskers believes that a group of dedicated people can make a huge impact in the lives of our feline friends. We believe in giving second chances, providing the care that these animals deserve, and allowing them a chance to recover. We strive to do our best by every single cat who comes to Whiskers.

We held our first online auction in December of last year and it was a success; let's make it happen again!

One poignant rescue story that encapsulates the essence of Whiskers' mission involves a senior cat named Sweet Rick. Sweet Rick was found abandoned after his caregiver passed, frail and struggling to survive. Neighbors sat by and did nothing as this deaf and limited site boy declined. Despite his advanced age and various health issues, our team at Whiskers couldn't turn a blind eye to his plight.

Sweet Rick's rescue journey was not without its challenges. He required extensive medical attention, including dental work, treatment for chronic conditions, and a carefully tailored diet. The dedicated efforts of our veterinary partners, combined with the love and care provided by Whiskers' volunteers, played a crucial role in Sweet Rick's remarkable recovery, giving him almost two years living the life he so deserved.

As Rick regained his strength, his resilient spirit shone through, revealing a gentle and affectionate feline soul. The fundraising support we receive is instrumental in giving cats like Sweet Rick a second chance at a comfortable and loving life. Sharing Rick's story not only raises awareness about the challenges faced by senior and high-risk felines but also emphasizes the transformative impact that compassionate care and community support can have on their lives.
