😺Meowdy! Welcome to Whiskers' third annual online auction!!😺

Whiskers-Utah is a non-profit organization dedicated to minimizing the euthanasia of high-risk pets in Utah. Whiskers is a 100% volunteer run, foster-based organization founded in 2018.

Over the years, we have stepped up for countless cats who would have never received that second chance without Whiskers. To date, we have rescued over 800 high-risk feline friends including seniors, medical cases, special needs and behavioral kitties and when needed, provided a final, comfortable place for some to call home.

Whiskers believes that a group of dedicated people can make a huge impact in the lives of our feline friends. We believe in giving second chances, providing the care that these animals deserve, and allowing them a chance to recover. We strive to do our best by every single cat who comes to Whiskers.

We held our first online auction in December of 2023, our next in August of 2024, and we can't wait for you to join us as we do it again!

Your support will help us continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals in Utah.

At Whiskers, every cat has a story – and every story matters.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to rescue those truly in need – senior cats, special needs friends, and those facing medical challenges that others may turn away from. But our work is only possible because of the generosity of our community. Every dollar given to our Medical Fund becomes a lifeline for cats who might otherwise have no chance.

Take Beaker, for example – a beautiful boy many feared had a brain tumor. After extensive diagnostics, we discovered he had ocular FIP, a once-terminal illness that is now treatable. Beaker’s journey continues, but today he’s a thriving reminder that a diagnosis doesn’t have to be the end of the story.

Or think of the many sweet seniors who arrive in pain, unable to eat because of years of untreated dental disease. With proper veterinary care, including dentals, these golden-aged friends go from frail and withdrawn to vibrant and affectionate, ready to enjoy their golden years in comfort.

And then there’s Frodo – a tiny fighter who nearly didn’t make it after a severe infection spread from his middle ear into his jaw, causing osteomyelitis. His treatment has required multiple vets, extensive testing, and even CAT scans to uncover the full scope of his condition. Today, Frodo is a living testament to what love, skilled care, and community support can accomplish.

There are cats like Baby Boots who the community rallied around when he had plural effusion. This guy was also diagnosed with FIP AND made a complete recovery!

These stories – and so many more – are why our Medical Fund exists. It’s what allows us to say “yes” when the easy answer would be “no.” It’s what transforms fear into hope, pain into comfort, and tragedy into happy endings.
