Every brushstroke tells a story — and through our Plein Air Silent Auction, those stories help us write a new chapter for the next generation of young artists.

Held during our annual celebration at artCentral, the Plein Air Silent Auction showcases the talents of local and regional artists who paint on-site in the open air, capturing the unique charm and beauty of Carthage. These one-of-a-kind works reflect moments in time, brought to life through color, movement, and atmosphere.

What makes this event truly special is its purpose: a portion of each artwork sold — in many cases, 100% — goes directly toward scholarships for ArtCamp, our immersive summer program for youth. In 2024, community support helped fund 204 scholarships, opening doors for children from low-income families to discover the joy and power of creative expression.

When you place a bid, you’re not just purchasing a beautiful piece of art. You’re helping a child attend camp, explore their imagination, and grow in confidence.
