This month we're teaming up with the Down to Earth Coloring Club and Austin Photo Walkers at the Austin History Center!

Join us on August 20th from 5:30-7:00pm at the Austin History Center for the next edition of our History Hour series. As always this event is absolutely free to attend, open to all ages, and focused on building community with other passionate Austin history enthusiasts!

Event Activities:

Coloring with the Down to Earth Coloring Club - a local community group focused on bringing people together through the simple joy of coloring together.
Austin Photo Walkers gathering - a street photography focused community of Austinites that document local stories through film and digital photography.
Silent Auction of select Austin History Center antique furniture - as the 1933 Austin History Center building enters its next era, this is the first opportunity to bid on a selection of antique furniture to take home with you! All buyers may move furniture off of the premises either during the event or by appointment.
Waterloo Press book sales - look forward to this opportunity to purchase works published through our association's Waterloo Press, including the Indelible Austin Series by Michael Barnes.
Free 1873 historic map prints of Austin - we love giving away maps to encourage a deeper connection with our city's history! All attendees are welcome to grab a historic map print for themselves while supplies last.
