Every Spring, eighth grade students at Zion Lutheran School in Walburg (Georgetown, TX) to Washington, D.C. for a week-long educational experiential trip with their peers and teachers. This trip is a beloved capstone tradition for the 8th grade class.

The 2024 8th Grade D.C. Trip Students and Parents are now raising funds for current ZLS eighth graders.

On February 24^th, we will be having a BBQ Beef/ Sausage Dinner and Auction at the Zion Lutheran School Gym. The evening will feature entertainment from the up and coming artist Brooks Mayberry from Salado. The evening will feature appetizers, games and the students will be on hand helping to serve meals and work the auction. All net proceeds go to offset the cost of the trip.

Those who can’t attend the event but still want to support can participate in the online auction prior to the event.

People can also make a donation to the DC Trip fund directly by visiting the website. No donation is too small and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
