Our Story: The ArtsCentric Legacy

ArtsCentric is a Black-led, color-conscious performing arts organization committed to reexamining traditional roles in the arts; advancing original stories of specific cultures not represented in mainstream arts; and fostering educational advancement to strengthen the community through the power of theater.

We aim to enrich lives by addressing racial inequity in the performing arts, assisting low- to moderate-income artists of all ages to receive training for performance, education, and administrative careers in the arts, and providing affordable access to arts and cultural enrichment activities.

A Long-Awaited Homecoming

This gala marks our first major benefit since 2019. After the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to reboot this tradition and celebrate the resilience of Baltimore’s artistic community.
