FASD MARDI GRAS MASQUERADE

Join us for a spectacular evening for our families and supporters in the community. We invite supporters of tuition-free French immersion education in Denver to join us at this amazing event to help continue the legacy we are building at our blossoming school!

THE EVENT

The Masquerade will be held at Skylight Denver in the Santa Fe Arts District. Event details:

Date: 13 March 2025
Time: 6:30 pm to 10 pm
Location: Skylight Denver - 833 Santa Fe Dr, Denver, CO 80204
Tickets: available starting 1/15/2025 until 3/13. Special early bird pricing is available until 2/4/2025.
Attire: cocktail attire and bring-your-own mask
Food: is generously donated by the One Group and their restaurants STK, Benihana, and Kona Grill
Drinks: open bar with beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
Music: guest DJs and the Badda Boom Brass Band
Activities: photo booth and wine pull
Parking and Transportation: we encourage people to use rideshare, carpool, or take the Light Rail. There is also street parking and a parking lot nearby

WHY?

As a charter school, our base operating per pupil allotment is lower than our neighboring public schools and, like Denver Public Schools, FASDenver is responsible for securing and funding its facilities - a cost that amounts to nearly $450k this year alone.

For this event, FASD has identified a $50,000 fundraising goal to:

Expand, retain, and better support our high-caliber teaching staff and fund the necessary visas for teachers from France and other Francophone countries.
Secure more of our unique curriculum materials for our growing student body, which come directly from France
Support enrichment programs and collaborations with neighboring institutions like the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science. We aspire to add a part-time visual arts teacher and provide sustained exposure to the arts.
Expand our facility to support growth and enhance classroom technology.
Enhance professional development in language immersion techniques for all our staff.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

Parents, friends, family, and prospective families. No children though, please. This is an adults-only event.
