The Downingtown STEM Academy will host its 14^th Annual Downingtown STEM Academy Home & School Association “FORE the KIDS” golf outing at the Whitford Country Club in Downingtown, PA on Monday, April 28, 2025. The Downingtown STEM Academy is the third high school in the Downingtown Area School District and is a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math International Baccalaureate World School. It is the only school of its kind and is receiving attention locally, nationally, and internationally – Newsweek has ranked the Downingtown STEM Academy among the top ten most challenging high schools in the northeastern United States!

Proceeds from the “FORE the KIDS” golf outing provide business-critical soft skills training for all STEM Academy students, delivered by the Mid-Atlantic Employers Association (MEA) and scholarship funding for students in financial need to cover fees associated with the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma.

These programs have such a positive impact on our students; Pennsylvania’s future economy depends on schools developing talent in STEM fields including soft skills like critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills— preparing students to succeed in college and beyond in the workforce.
