Angels we have heard on high, sweetly singing o’er the plains: “Gloria in excelsis Deo!” (Luke 2:14). To awestruck shepherds they announced, “Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11). This tree, “Angels We Have Heard on High,” echoes their triumphant chorus—Jesus, the Word made flesh, descending with heaven’s glory to earth, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

Saint William HOPE – Homeless Program for Empowerment – is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. “Angels We Have Heard on High” celebrates the arrival of an infant child born homeless in a manger inviting all to adore the newborn King and share His peace with the world (Luke 2:13-14). Through reverent worship, life-giving sacraments, and compassionate outreach, every Mass, ministry, and act of mercy joins the refrain, “Gloria in excelsis Deo!”
