About Aaliyah in Action...

I founded Aaliyah in Action after the stillbirth of my daughter, Aaliyah, as a way to turn pain into purpose. Our mission is simple yet deeply needed: to ensure that no family experiencing baby loss begins their grief journey without tangible comfort and compassionate support.

Through our self-care package program, Aaliyah in Action provides families with carefully curated items that promote rest, reflection, and healing during the earliest and hardest days after loss. Since 2021, we’ve partnered with more than 70 hospitals nationwide, including over 20 right here in the D.C. area, to provide these packages at no cost to families or hospitals.

Our 5th Annual Silent Auction & Donation Day, hosted with Xtend Barre Arlington helps make this work possible. 100% of proceeds go directly toward funding our care package program for under-resourced hospitals and individual families in need.

Every bid, every donation, and every act of generosity helps us reach one more grieving family with love, hope, and tangible comfort — because healing begins when we feel cared for.
