AROSE 2nd Annual Scholarship Soiree
Sunday, September 10th, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM CDT
Join us on September 10th for a lively afternoon of fellowship, networking, entertainment, food, and drinks while supporting a great cause. AROSE will host its 2nd Annual Scholarship Soiree to celebrate the accomplishments of the organization while raising funds to further support Black and Brown students from communities of trauma embarking on their post-secondary journeys. AROSE will also honor influential community leaders who have emerged from adversity and used their experiences to give to youth. 2023 Honorees: Priya Shah, Founder & CEO of The Simple Good Terrance Pratt, CEO of Culture Loupe Jamhal Johnson, Co-Founder & CFO of Moor's Brewing Company This event features an open bar, culinary delights, & silent auction. Cocktail Attire Required! 100% of the proceeds will be attributed to fund AROSE programming. Your generosity will help improve the education and economic empowerment of Black and Brown youth in our community. AROSE's mission is to bridge the opportunity gap for underserved Black and Brown youth in trauma-prone communities through post-secondary scholarships, support services, and community outreach initiatives.
We are dedicated to changing the narrative of how our young people in these communities are seen and what they can become. AROSE is committed to showing that traumatic events do not define their future but enable them to become productive, hopeful members of society.
