The Gaithersburg Artist Collective, a program of the Kentlands Community Foundation, has a mission to bring visual arts to the community. The collective is comprised of 19 local artists occupying a shared gallery space called Artists on Market.

As part of our Community Engagement, we are hosting a Charity Art Auction this year supporting The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory and neurodegenerative disease affecting approximately 400,000 people in the United States and 2.1 million people worldwide. We chose to support the National MS Society because MS directly impacts our collective. One of our members battles this disease every day.

This virtual auction includes in person art classes (Gaithersburg, MD), paintings, mixed media, fiber, ceramics, jewelry, fused glass, photography, and sculpture.

All of the art has been donated by the artists and the funds raised will be donated directly to the National MS Society.

The Kentlands Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Maryland non-profit corporation.

Artists on Market is currently located at 113 Market Street, Gaithersburg, MD, in the Kentlands.
