A Woman’s Place began as a grassroots movement — the vision of four women who saw a need in their community and took action. Motivated by compassion and a desire to help others, their early acts of kindness laid the foundation for what would become Bucks County’s only domestic violence response organization. When they founded A Woman’s Place in 1976, they could not have imagined that, 50 years later, their legacy would continue to empower, protect, and uplift countless lives.
