Our Founder saved herself from an assault when she was followed home from the train one night, inspiring B3: Be Prepared, Be Aware, Be Empowered. Being physically prepared to run and aware of her surroundings, she was able to protect herself and run to safety. SkySafe Training introduces students to the three stages of self-protection training:

Strength & Conditioning for Preparedness
Self-Defense for Situational Awareness
Yoga for Empowerment

Our Be Empowered program is designed to strengthen our community by bringing neighbors together to Move & Meet at a B3 Safe Stop - local businesses near SEPTA stations that provide safe spaces for our community.

100% of survey responders stated that attending a B3 class increased their self-esteem/confidence and identified their connection with their community as a great place to live.

67% of survey responders stated B3 classes helped them build resilience to stress with new coping skills, feel healthier/happier/positive, and increased alertness throughout the day.
