Join us for a Beautiful Luncheon on May 11th (Mothers Day) at the stunning Meadowlark Gardens Atrium. The Benefit Luncheon will be in support of our beloved Medina Montessori!

An afternoon of inspiration, featuring honored guests Shaykh Yahya Rhodus and Ustadha Kouthar Muttardy.

*Although children are welcome to attend, please note that there is no separate children's program during the event. If you know your child will have difficulty sitting through the program, it is best to have alternative arrangements so you can enjoy the event without stress :-)

Weather permitting, families are also welcome to walk around the garden with their children if they need to stretch their legs!

Highlights of the Luncheon will include:

🌺 Garden View Buffet Luncheon featuring: Lemon Herb Chicken (Halal), Roasted Asparagus, Apple and Mixed Baby Greens Salad, Breakfast Chicken Sausage (Halal), Warm Waffles with Sliced Strawberries, Roasted Baby Potatoes, Cheesy Scrambled Eggs, Mixed Cut Fruit, Assorted Breads.

🌱Make your own tea sachets with local organic farmer and herbalist Sister Halima Willet

🖼 Fine Arts Auction: art by renowned calligrapher Brother Ahmad Ghassab, hand- stitched Palestinian embroidery, and the unveiling of a collaborative piece by Brother Ahmad Ghassab and the Medina Montessori Elementary Students.

About the Gardens

Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is a serene oasis spanning 95 acres of lush greenery and vibrant blooms. Choose multiple gardens to explore including an herb garden, butterfly garden, bonsai pavilion, and experimental meadow!

Proceeds from this event will provide the funding for the initial phase of the much needed Islamic Montessori Adolescent Program launching in August 2025, in sha’Allah.
