ABOUT THE AUCTION

The Annual BWP/NAD Stallion Service Auction raises funds for our Keuring Tour. By donating and bidding, you are directly supporting the organization, planning and execution of our annual inspections.

All stallions in the BWP/NAD SSA are approved with BWP and BWP/NAD which means they have all passed the necessary veterinary requirements. All offspring of the included stallions are eligible to be registered BWP/NAD and foal registration is discounted for foals by stallions activated in the Studbook.

Stallions who are entered into the 2026 Auction will be automatically entered into the BWP/NAD Stallion Futurity. If you wish to donate a breeding of a BWP/NAD or BWP Approved Stallion, please reach out to BWP/NAD directly.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By bidding in the 2026 BWP/NAD SSA you agree to the terms of the auction and the terms of each individual breeding donated. Bidder accepts the following terms and conditions of bidding in the auction.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to reach out to Stallion Owners prior to bidding to answer any questions regarding breeding or contract. Winning bids are subject to stallion owner's contract terms.

FOR FRESH BREEDINGS:
Breedings won must be claimed inside the 2026 breeding season unless otherwise stated by Stallion Owner. Breedings that are not claimed in 2026 will be considered null and void unless otherwise stated by Stallion Owner. Neither BWP/NAD nor Stallion Owner are obligated to honor an unclaimed breeding after 2026. No refunds will be issued for unused or unclaimed breedings. It is the winning bidder's responsibility to claim breedings after winning.

FOR FROZEN & ICSI BREEDINGS:
Breedings must be claimed and transferred within 30 days of winning. Breedings claimed after 30 days may be subject to additional storage fees to winning bidder. Breedings that are not claimed in 2026 will be considered null and void unless otherwise stated by Stallion Owner. Neither BWP/NAD nor Stallion Owner are obligated to honor an unclaimed breeding after 2026. No refunds will be issued for unused or unclaimed breedings. It is the winning bidder's responsibility to claim breedings after winning.

The Belgian Warmblood North American District Inc is not responsible for unclaimed breedings. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to claim and transfer all breedings won within the allotted time frame set by the Stallion Owner and the auction.

There are NO REFUNDS for unused or unclaimed breedings; NO REFUNDS or replacements for breedings that do not take unless otherwise agreed upon by Stallion Owner terms. Once semen is transferred it is the responsibility of the winning bidder to ensure proper handling of the semen or doses. Stallion Owner maintains ownership of breeding until bid is paid in full.

Bidders who have in the past failed payment on bids are no longer eligible to bid in auctions hosted by BWP/NAD. Bidders do not have to be members of BWP/NAD.

*Registration of foals by BWP/NAD approved stallions into the Klasse I Foal Book must also have a dam in the BWP/NAD Mare Book; Mare Book registration can be done at time of Foal Book registration and is not required for bidding.
