The most exciting fundraiser of the season in a place like no other, Gala In The Park began with cocktails and a silent auction in the park’s iconic Bumper Car Pavilion, followed by dinner and honors in the historic Spanish Ballroom, and our first-ever disco after party, Boogie in the Bumper Car—and of course, rides on the Dentzel Carousel all night long.

We honored heroic lifelong civil rights activist, Tina Clarke, world-renowned artist, Suzanne Brennan Firstenberg, and Glen Echo Pottery Founder and Artistic Director Jeff Kirk. Guests joined Honorary Chair Carol Trawick, Gala Chairs Barbara & John Martin, and emcees Shawn Yancy and Tommy McFly for the most fun gala in Washington!
