The mission of Helping Friendly Farm is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities and their families using the power of animals, nature, and safe sensory exploration.

Helping Friendly Farm is the only place in our region that intentionally weaves together three evidence-based therapeutic modalities: animal interaction, nature immersion, and sensory integration - all within one inclusive, accessible environment.

Our Sensory Barn integrates therapeutic strategies into daily play experiences, recognizing that intervention is most effective when siblings and family members are included in the process.

Our Animals play a powerful role in connection and regulation. Research consistently shows that human-animal interaction improves social attention, behavior, interpersonal engagement, and mood.

Our Gardens invite every participant to become a nurturer. Gardening keeps us connected to other living things, reminds us where our food comes from, and awakens curiosity about new tastes, textures, and experiences.

The farm is designed for families of anyone with ADD/ADHD, learning disorder, an autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, chromosomal disorder, chronic illness, developmental delay, Down syndrome, GARD, intellectual disability, mobility/movement disorder, mental illness, NORD, physical disability, and other invisible illness. At Helping Friendly Farm, we know that special needs are just needs.
