Brown Girls Climb (BGC) strives to facilitate mentorship, provide access, uplift leadership, and celebrate representation in the outdoors and climbing for People of the Global Majority. Our process is adaptive and emergent, focusing on building equitable and just relationships in all the efforts we commit to, including meet-ups and mentorship, resource sharing and redistribution, and employment and industry practices. We are making a significant change after Seven years of work! We are excited to become a non-profit!

Ensuring the smooth functioning of Brown Girls Climb, enabling us to continue our mission effectively.

⛰️Leadership Training⛰️
Providing training opportunities for local leaders and staff to further their commitment to diversity and inclusion in outdoor spaces. These trainings will focus on essential skills such as Wilderness First Aid & Responder, Adaptive Awareness Training, Single-Pitch Instructor course/exam, and Leave No Trace Training.

⛰️Expanding Outdoor Workshops⛰️
Enabling Brown Girls Climb to offer more outdoor-specific workshops nationwide. This expansion aims to make the outdoors accessible to a broader audience, thereby fostering inclusivity and diversity within outdoor activities.
