Our Story

Someone once believed in us. Now it’s our turn.

We both know what it means for someone, somewhere, to believe in your future.

We grew up in Ethiopia and were given opportunities through education and scholarships that helped change the direction of our lives. M&T Legacy Foundation was born from a simple question:

What if we could give that same opportunity to another child?

We named M&T in honor of the mothers whose love, sacrifice, and belief in education shaped the people we became. Now, we want their legacy to reach far beyond our own families.

Our journey begins in Gondar, Ethiopia, helping create safe, dignified and inspiring places for children to learn—better classrooms, clean bathrooms, books, playgrounds, and access to educational opportunities.

But this is about more than improving a school.

It is about telling a child: You matter. Your education matters. Your future matters.

We were once the children someone chose to believe in.
