Four friends walking on a golf course with their back to the camera

For Jonathan Strelzik, the golf course has always been more than a game. It has long been one of his gathering places: a space for friendship, mentorship, conversation and connection.

This October, we're carrying that spirit forward. The inaugural 2026 Heartline Classic Golf Outing honors Jonathan Strelzik's ongoing journey with Alzheimer's while bringing together family, friends, colleagues, and supporters for a day of golf, connection, and community in support of Center for the Heart.

Enjoy a day on the course, friendly competition, and an evening reception as we launch what we hope will become a lasting community tradition. Together, we'll help ensure more individuals and families can access compassionate, non-clinical support before crisis, during transition, and after loss.

When: Monday, October 19, 2026, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Where: Cedar Hill Country Club, Livingston, New Jersey

Center for the Heart is a New Jersey nonprofit grounded in the belief that no one should have to navigate serious illness, caregiving, Alzheimer's and dementia, end-of-life transitions, or grief alone. Through compassionate, non-clinical end-of-life and grief support, we walk alongside individuals and families, regardless of their financial means.

Your participation helps make this work possible. Through Jan-Jun 2026, donor-supported access has helped provide 90 fully funded support hours, 23 documented support touchpoints, and compassionate support for 15 individuals and families. Every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, donor, and gift helps expand access to more individuals and families navigating one of the hardest transitions in life.
