The ACMS Foundation was established in 2018 and is dedicated to advancing excellence in dermatologic surgery by raising funds and resources to support education, research, leadership development, and advocacy initiatives for fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons. Through this commitment, we strive to enhance the standard of care and elevate the profile of fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons, ultimately improving outcomes for skin cancer patients.

Over the past seven years, the ACMS Foundation has provided leadership mentoring for 38 members through the Mohs Surgeons Leading the Future (MSLF) program, provided funding for 23 research grants resulting in multiple publications, sponsored eight lectureships for Fellows In Training, completed eight projects through the MSLF program, as well as supporting multiple research abstract presentations. The impact of the ACMS Foundation goes beyond the donors and members, benefiting Mohs patients as well.
