There’s something about spring that feels like a return—like stepping out from under a weight you didn’t realize you were carrying, and finding the light again.

Over the colder months, I’ve been building this body of work piece by piece, not fully knowing what it would become. In these past few weeks, it’s started to feel like a clearing—like a place where some of that weight could finally be set down.

Carried into the Clearing is a collection of quiet paintings—born from early mornings, restless nights, and long stretches of reflection. Each piece holds something I didn’t have words for, so I gave it a canvas instead.

I’ll be releasing one piece each day over the course of a week, with the auction closing next Sunday at 5pm.

I’ll be honest—this week carries more than just the work. Our family has run into a few unexpected financial curveballs, and I’m hoping this collection helps steady things a bit. In a way I don’t often do, some of these pieces may find homes for less than usual.
