Peer Support Space, Inc. (PSS) is a peer-led organization comprised of a community of individuals that have navigated their own life struggles, mental health challenges, substance misuse challenges, disabilities, grief, trauma, and other obstacles to their overall and mental wellness.

Peer Support Space supports and helps individuals navigate their personal challenges by holding space for, and recognizing, the current challenges that many face in our current healthcare system. The mission and objective of PSS is to foster and form a network and opportunities where individuals can heal and grow together as chosen family, where whatever somebody is navigating they don’t have to do it alone.

Currently Peer Support Space offers Community Gatherings,1:1 Peer Support, Lived Experience Advocacy, and more. Most recently, PSS has launched their new Peer Respite Center: Eva’s Casita. Eva’s Casita is a non- clinical space where individuals can for up to a week engage in mutual, non hierarchical, non prescriptive support. This means we support individuals how they would like to be supported!

This respite marks the historic opening of a first of its kind resource in Central Florida, and we could use some support to ensure that every stay at our respite is truly restorative. In an effort to raise funds to support the opening of Eva’s, we are holding a silent auction. Please consider whether you or your organization may be able to make a donation to help support our cause.

The silent auction will run alongside, and as a part of, our Eva’s Casita Respite Opening Celebration. As a part of the celebration, we are introducing community members to the space by offering a tour-a-thon in the month of July. In short, community members can tour the respite space, learn about Peer Support Space and its offerings, and take part of the silent auction event if they so choose. The auction will begin the second week of July and run through the end of the month.
