Hadassah is a Jewish women's organization that began in New York City in 1912 with a mission to provide emergency care in pre-state Israel.

Today, more than a century later, Hadassah has nearly 300,000 members. Supported by generous donors, the Hadassah Medical Organization's two Jerusalem hospitals are global leaders in medical care, treatments, and research. The hospitals serve more than a million women, men and children each year regardless of religion, race, or nationality.
