Stan and Elise Lanford - Legacy of Impact Award

Stan and Elise Lanford have spent decades strengthening the Roanoke Valley through their steadfast generosity, civic leadership, and deep commitment to local families and institutions. Through the Stan and Elise Lanford Family Fund, they have supported education, healthcare, and community development—advancing a vision of a more connected, compassionate, and thriving region.

Peter and Carla Lewis - Legacy of Leadership Award

Peter and Carla Lewis have dedicated their lives to uplifting the Roanoke Valley through service, education, and cultural preservation. Peter’s founding of Apple Ridge Farm has given thousands of local youth life-changing educational experiences, while Carla’s leadership at the Gainsboro Library has safeguarded the stories and strength of the community. Together, their enduring commitment has shaped a legacy of opportunity, learning, and pride for generations to come.
