Last Labor Day weekend, we unleashed Ben into the wilds of Camp Chingachgook on Lake George. He conquered the rope swing like Tarzan, discovered his inner Robin Hood with archery, and made a bunch of new friends (human and possibly squirrel). This year, he’s so excited to go back for a week... WITHOUT US. 😭 This mama's not okay.
In celebration of my one-year work anniversary with the Capital District YMCA, and all the amazing things they do for kids and families, I’m raising funds to help give more kids their own ‘Best. Week. Ever.’ My goal is to raise $200 —help me get there and give more kids a chance to swing, shoot, and make memories that stick for a lifetime (even if their parents cry a little).

Join YMCA Camp Chingachgook & friends on January 10, 2025, for an unforgettable evening of music and community at our Camp Rocks Camp Rocks Benefit Concert! Every note played and song sung will help make a difference, as all proceeds from the event will go directly toward funding summer camp scholarships. Get your tickets today and help us turn music into magic!
The event will take place at the Hollow Bar + Kitchen in Albany, NY, for friends of camp who are 18 years and older, and doors will open at 7 PM. Tickets are on sale now for $20 and will be $25 at the door (if any remain). We encourage you to arrive early and grab dinner at the Hollow (kitchen closes at 9 PM). Camp merch and raffles will be available all night! Local musician Bella Sano will be our opener, starting at 8 PM, and The E-Block band will start at 9 PM.
