Welcome to the Annual GALA and Auction for the Children's STEAM Playlab! We are thrilled to host this significant event at the LincWay building, the future home of our innovative children's science center in Dalton, Ohio. This evening marks a pivotal moment in our journey toward fostering a space dedicated to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education for the young minds in our community.

Our Mission and Vision

The Children's STEAM Playlab is committed to creating an engaging and educational environment where children can explore and develop their interests in STEAM fields. By nurturing creativity and critical thinking, we aim to empower the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

Fundraising Goal

This year, our goal is to raise $55,000 through our GALA and Auction. The funds raised will contribute to our annual campaign, which is crucial for ongoing programming and infrastructure of future exhibit spaces.

Future Opportunities

Once critical funding in place, the Children's STEAM Playlab will be able to continue to be a hub of educational and creative opportunities, including:

Community Activities: Offering a range of programs and events for local families and children.
Homeschool Groups: Providing a dedicated space and resources for homeschoolers to explore STEAM subjects.
Summer Camps: Hosting immersive and fun summer camps that delve into various STEAM topics.
STEAM Makerspace Activities: Collaborating with Schantz & Romich Makerspace to offer hands-on experiences that encourage exploration and innovation.
