In light of recent developments, the Chroma Art Film Festival faces an unprecedented challenge. Governor DeSantis' decision to cut $32 million in funding for the arts in Florida for 2025 has left numerous arts programs and institutions, including our own, in a precarious position. This devastating reduction threatens the survival of the vibrant arts community that has been the heartbeat of our culture.

To combat this crisis, we are launching a Silent Auction and Fundraising Event on August 17th, 2024, in Miami, Florida. This initiative is more than just a fundraising effort; it is a call to action, a rallying cry to all who believe in the power of art to bring communities together and inspire change. We are determined to continue our mission of fostering creativity, innovation, and diversity in the arts despite these financial adversities.

The Chroma Art Film Festival has always been a beacon for emerging and established artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and engage with the community. Our festival not only highlights artistic achievements but also offers educational programs and community outreach initiatives that enrich the cultural landscape of Miami and beyond.

The proceeds from this silent auction will be used to:
