Now that 7 out of 10 American young people leave their faith in their 20s (Kinnamon, 2019), church leaders and families are seeking novel approaches to address the destruction of faith at higher education institutions.

Christian colleges and universities change lives for Christian service and purpose; train the future leaders of the church; and foster faith where all too often faith goes to die ... yet these institutions remain out of reach for lay American families for lack of knowledge or resources.

Thankfully, many Christian universities work closely with churches in this shared ministry by providing matching funds on scholarships that churches establish for youth in their respective communities.

The Christian Higher Education Foundation (C.H.E.F.) trains church volunteers on how to promote Christian colleges and take advantage of these church scholarship match programs.
