Its all about the river comedy show will be held friday night, October 2nd at Hawks Club 430 Riverside Drive, Essex MD 21221.

Tickets are on sale now! $40 includes entry to the party, catered light fare by M&M, dance party hosted by DJ Kenny Carter, and 90 minutes of standup comedians. The show is hosted by Lady Lila! Graffiti Artist ShawnF10 custom art silent auction. Cash Bar through out the night. Dj Plays til 10! This is a fundraising event to benefit the Back River Restoration Committee.

The Back River has been known for years as one of the most polluted rivers in Maryland, but we are out to change that reputation. Since 2011, BRRC has removed over 8 million pounds of trash and debris from Back River.

The river is naturally rebounding with a little help from Mother Nature and the continual upgrades of the Waste Water Treatment facility. In 2011, Back River was (1) of only (2) areas marked as “improved” by the Chesapeake Bay Program’s report card.
