The Youth Arts Academy of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego is excited to announce its 16th annual COMMOTION! Commotion is a family and community-friendly event featuring performances from our student-led rock bands. This event will take place from 10am - 2pm on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at the Music Box in downtown San Diego.

Commotion is not only a celebration of our talented students, but a crucial fundraiser for our program. As a nonprofit, we rely on fundraisers like these to help bridge the gap between the nominal fees we charge and the actual costs of our services, in addition to the thousands of dollars we provide in financial assistance each year. By donating to this event, you will be contributing to our mission to provide arts programs to all youth in our community, regardless of their financial status.
