Marylanders take great pride in its crabbing traditions, and for decades, crab feasts have brought communities together to laugh, love, and eat! For 3 Sisters’ new annual Blues & Brews Charity Crab Feast puts a fresh spin on this time-honored tradition.

Featuring a menu of all-you-can-eat Chesapeake Bay blue crabs & BBQ, craft beer and cocktails, VIP seating, the best blues rock & southern rock tunes, an extensive silent auction, and more, the Blues & Brews Charity Crab Feast raises critical funds needed to alleviate burdens for people affected by breast cancer.

About Kristen Berset Harris

Kristen Berset Harris is the award-winning television Host of Great Day Washington on WUSA9 in our Nation’s capital. She interviews everyone from celebrities, journalists, musicians, chefs, and people making a big impact in their communities.

Prior to joining the Great Day Washington team, Kristen spent 8 years as a Sports Anchor in Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland,

She’s covered the Super Bowl, World Series, Stanley Cup, March Madness and the US Open. Kristen started her local news career as an evening news anchor in Panama City, FL and as Host of the syndicated fishing competition show, The Professional Tarpon Tournament Series.

Kristen has won numerous Associated Press awards for her reporting in Kuwait and Iraq as well as local and national sports coverage.

In June 2017, Kristen received the ‘Ted Yates Award’ from the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Emmy Awards. It’s the chapter’s ‘Profile of Courage’ award given to professionals in the news business who have exhibited bravery on and off the job. Kristen returned to WUSA9 in August 2017 after completing treatment for her second bout with breast cancer and continues to be a strong advocate for breast cancer awareness and early detection.

Kristen is a native of St. Petersburg, FL and a proud graduate of the University of Florida.

For 3 Sisters is a national grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness and improving the lives of people affected by breast cancer. It was founded by retired firefighter Marshall Moneymaker, who lost three sisters to breast cancer.

For 3 Sisters provides financial grants and alleviates burdens for people affected by breast cancer, and educates the healthy community about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

We are committed to supporting breast cancer fighters and survivors in any way possible so that no one fights breast cancer alone!
