INSPIRE & IGNITE celebrates the expression of youth experiences in the Child Advocates' two-day workshop. Youth create poetry and art demonstrating their impact, action, and growth as a result of attending a workshop. Join us for an evening celebrating the creative brilliance of youth to Inspire and Ignite a spark in your life!

Child Advocates’ two-day workshop was specifically created to address the disparities of children in the child welfare system. Child Advocates engages participants representing various communities. Together, we have conversations to ignite change, strategizing to create communities where every child can thrive.

Recognizing the importance of creating a society that promotes belonging, safety, and opportunities for all, youth who’ve engaged in the workshop created Youth Advancement, Resilience, and Innovation (YARI). Inspired by their endeavors, Child Advocates hosted our first annual youth-centered poetry contest in 2023. We are excited to continue showcasing youth experiences through their artistic talents during INSPIRE & IGNITE!
