Now in its third year, the Twelve-by-Twelve Fiber Show celebrates the extraordinary creativity, generosity, and resilience of Local Cloth’s fiber artists. Each piece in this annual exhibit fits within a twelve-inch square—small in size, yet rich in texture, color, and story.

This year’s theme, Resilience, holds special meaning for our community. In the wake of Hurricane Helene, as so many across Western North Carolina continue to recover and rebuild, these works stand as expressions of hope, strength, and connection. Through fiber, our artists remind us that creativity is one of the ways we mend and move forward together.

The show culminates in a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind 12" x 12" fiber artworks handcrafted and donated by Local Cloth members. You can bid from anywhere—join us in person for the closing reception or participate online from afar. You don’t have to be present to win, and we’re happy to arrange shipping for any pieces you purchase.

All proceeds support Local Cloth’s ongoing work to grow and sustain our vibrant local fiber community through education, collaboration, and creative opportunity. It’s a wonderful way to collect a piece of local art while directly supporting both the artists and the organization that help keep our fiber traditions alive and thriving.
