Hope Homes exists to end exploitation before it begins—by removing the one condition present in nearly every case of harm against children: vulnerability.

When a predator sees a child left alone, that is when the unthinkable happens. We are deeply grateful for our partner organizations working on the rescue and rehabilitation side of exploitation. We need them. But Hope Homes works upstream, on prevention—because the wounds of abuse, assault, and exploitation are ones no child should ever have to carry.

Our focus is single mothers and at-risk families where no parent is available to protect, provide, and care for their children.

In Colorado Springs, CO and Quito, Ecuador, Hope Homes provides the highest-quality afterschool and evening childcare in the city at the lowest cost. Families on the razor's edge of homelessness are being caught before they fall. Children who were in vulnerable and abusive situations are now safe. Kids who know what it means to go hungry are being fed. Parents regularly say Hope Homes is their kid's favorite place to be. That is because, yes, they have fun and eat well, but more than that, it is because they are loved.

In Puerto Escondido, Mexico—a city facing staggering rates of abuse and exploitation of minors—Hope Homes has secured a large property in the heart of the greatest need. We are now fundraising to build a children's home to care for 300 children and youth: daytime, overnight, afterschool, and evening care for vulnerable families, plus full-time, live-in support for orphaned and abandoned kids.
