DiscoverU students don’t just sign up for opportunities—they gain acceptance into college and career exploration programs and often earn full tuition scholarships but can't afford the transportation or supplies needed to participate.

The DiscoverU Opportunity Fund provides financial aid so accepted students can say YES to opportunities they’ve already worked hard to earn.

How Financial Aid Works

DiscoverU provides financial aid to students who:

Have been accepted into a program
Come from families with limited financial resources

Every program offered to students has been carefully vetted by DiscoverU for quality, value, and long-term impact—ensuring students are stepping into experiences that truly expand what’s possible for their future.

Aid is distributed based on the type of experience:

$150 — Local Programs such as Hospitality Summer Camp at the University of Houston
$400 — Domestic Programs such as Yale Young Global Scholars
$650 — International Programs such as The Experiment in International Living
