Dorris Place Elementary to Host Annual Fall Fest and Celebrate 100 Years of Excellence

Los Angeles, CA – September 15, 2025 – Dorris Place Elementary, a proud Title I school in Los Angeles, is thrilled to announce its Annual Fall Fest, the school’s largest fundraiser of the year, which will also mark the celebration of the school’s 100th anniversary. This milestone event will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Dorris Place Elementary, 2225 Dorris Place, Los Angeles, CA 90031.

The Annual Fall Fest is a cherished community tradition that brings together students, families, staff, and local supporters for a day of fun, entertainment, and giving back. This year’s event is especially significant as it commemorates a century of educational excellence, community spirit, and dedication to nurturing young minds at Dorris Place Elementary.

Attendees can look forward to a vibrant day filled with exciting activities, including carnival games, live performances, food trucks, arts and crafts, and a silent auction featuring donations from local businesses. The event will also feature special tributes to the school’s 100-year legacy, including historical displays and storytelling sessions highlighting Dorris Place Elementary’s impact on the community.

Funds raised during the Fall Fest will directly support critical programs at Dorris Place Elementary, including classroom resources, technology upgrades, extracurricular activities, and support services for students and families. As a Title I school, these funds are vital to ensuring every student has access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.
