What Brentwood means to us, as a staff:
“Brentwood Social House was a seemingly unsuspecting shop I’d drive by daily and nudge my boyfriend and say “when are we going to try that place?” Finally, after over a month of it being on my ‘Places I Need to Try’ list on my notes app we made our way in. From the second I walked in I knew it was somewhere I wanted to be, a place I felt comfortable. It felt like a sign from the universe that when I walked in I was greeted with a We’re Hiring sign. From that day onward this place has been my safe haven, a place that has provided me with stability and a family like I’ve never experienced before. From the regulars who greet me with a funny anecdote about their lives like Mckenna or my coworkers listening to me rant about my day like Brenna and even to my managers giving me the freedom to gain responsibility in my various positions like Kori. Brentwood means a lot to me and throwing this auction for Suzanne and her family is a token of my admiration for all the things Brentwood has done for me. (I'm not crying, you're crying!) I can't tell you what this Community and our Team mean to me. I will do anything to serve, protect, empower, support, and help grow those who work for us and with us. 

At Brentwood Social House, we believe the world needs more places to experience connection and love. And as we celebrate 6 years of gratitude for YOUR love and support of our space in the Brentwood community, we want to acknowledge we are here for you and because of you. Thank you for your endless support and love as we travel on this journey together, for it is a journey and not a destination. 

Along with Covid and a global pandemic, winter storms, inflation, and the impending recession, we have also had a rough couple of years of maintenance expenses and repairs (and maintenance/repairs that we have put off). In addition to your continued patronage, we’ve made it through the last 2½ years with federal, local, and private grants. As these funds have long been spent, we are humbly asking for your support to help us pay off maintenance costs we have incurred and to build funds for the costs of much-needed repairs.

We know what a difficult and uncertain time this is for everyone, and we understand that there are many individuals and organizations in need. If you’re in a position to support us, any donation to this campaign will contribute to the cash resources we need to pay off debt to better help us take care of our Team and to create the structures to take Brentwood Social House into the future.

And if you could let others know about this campaign, we’ll appreciate that immensely, too.

SILENT AUCTION
In addition to donations, our Team is putting together a Virtual Silent Auction with goods and services donated by local businesses (we can't thank you enough, local businesses!). The Silent Auction will start on February 14th and end on February 28th and will be accessible through the Auction Tab at the top of this page.
