Welcome to our Fund in the Sun Fundraiser in Queen Creek, Arizona. Join us for a family fun day. This is a free event, good for the whole family. We will have an Easter Egg Hunt for the kiddos, options to join a basketball or pickleball tournament, we will have cool prizes to win, raffles, food trucks with great food and live music. Event is from 1pm-8pm.

In 2022 I visited a town in mainland Tanzania; Kahama. Upon my arrival, I had dozens of kids surrounding me, giving me high gives and hugs. A perfect stranger to them, but they treated me like family from the first moment I met them. These kids were so full of joy and laughter that it took me quite a while to recognize they lived in an area with no running water, and no electricity. Their clothes were dirty, oversized, tattered and torn. Yet, they were happy. In Kahama, there is no tourism, the education is sub-par at best, there's no library or learning center, playground or even a space to play soccer. This neighborhood of families took me and our students in and loved us like family. In return, we are building a community center right in the middle of this neighborhood so kids can have a place to learn Science and English and how to read books. The community center in Kahama is going to be a center for growth and opportunity. Please join us in our efforts to Raise the Roof on this building the community will soon call theirs.
