Ekar Farm is growing into an exciting new chapter as we establish our permanent home at Shalom Park in Aurora. Building a farm from the ground up is a major undertaking, with investments in irrigation, soil development, fencing, pathways, equipment, cold storage, and the many pieces of infrastructure needed to create a thriving and welcoming community farm.

As Colorado continues to experience drought and rising water costs, we are also building with the future in mind. New water-efficient irrigation technology, including a solar-powered controller and soil moisture and rain sensors, is helping us conserve water while growing fresh, healthy food for our community.

Most importantly, this new farm gives Ekar an opportunity to grow our impact. Along with the produce we harvest, we purchase food from other farms and suppliers to meet increasing community needs, with food distributed at no cost through our community partners.

Every Silent Auction bid is an investment in Ekar’s future—helping us build a beautiful, sustainable farm where we can grow more food, welcome more people, and strengthen our community for years to come.
