Equality in Motion is Garden State Equality’s largest annual community fundraiser. This year – Garden State Equality's 20th anniversary – Equality in Motion is more inclusive, equitable, bigger, and better than ever.

In addition to five events all across New Jersey from Wednesday, October 9 through Sunday, October 13 – including new locations in Camden and Sussex County – this year's Equality in Motion will include more motion-based ways to participate and more diverse event formats.

Wednesday, October 9 | Asbury Park

Thursday, October 10 | Camden

Time: 5:30–7:30 pm
Location: Cooper River Park (South Park Drive, Collingswood, NJ 08108)
Activities: All-ages Field Day (games, dancing, walk/roll, exercise/challenge stations)

Friday, October 11 | Atlantic City (with the Atlantic County Queer Alliance)

Time: 5–7 pm

Activity: Walk/Roll with Drag Performers

Saturday, October 12 | Sussex County (with Sussex County Pride & PFLAG Sussex County)

Equality in Motion used to be known as the Equality Walk. Accessibility and equity are at the heart of why we rebranded the event. We want everyone to be able to take part in Equality in Motion, no matter how you move or where you live. That’s why, in addition to new locations, we’re also offering a daily motion (and more) challenge so you can get involved from anywhere! Stay tuned for details.
