Join us for Sip & Support: An Evening for Erin benefiting the American Heart Association, a special evening to raise awareness and funds for the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Go Red for Women movement and celebrate Erin Cassidy's nomination as a 2025 Woman of Impact.

On June 29, 2013, Erin’s life changed forever. At just 38 years old, she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) while celebrating her (now) husband’s birthday. Thanks to the quick action of nurses dining nearby and the dedication of first responders, Erin’s life was saved.

Erin was placed into an induced coma to minimize potential brain damage from oxygen deprivation. When she awoke, Dr. Jeffrey Mossler implanted an ICD (pacemaker/defibrillator) to protect her from future events. Dr. Mossler called her survival a miracle - only ~9% of the 350,000+ out-of-hospital SCA cases annually make it.

Now, Erin is committed to raising awareness about heart health and the importance of life-saving medical advancements, like those funded by the American Heart Association. As a Woman of Impact nominee, her goal is to raise $15,000 for AHA initiatives that empower women to live heart-healthy lives.
