The Little Black Flannel Initiative is based on a Junior League event of a similar name that harnesses the power of social media to illustrate the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities, and access to resources. Advocates wear one black dress, outfit, or flannel for one week to spark conversations and awareness about poverty and related issues.

Throughout the week, members will wear their flannels as the JLCV hosts several events open to everyone, including an online auction. Total funds raised will be split 50/50 with xxx
