Established in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit dance company, Ballet Frontier is committed to delivering transformative cultural experiences that combine artistic excellence, exceptional talent, and world-class choreography. Each season, Ballet Frontier delights audiences across North Texas with annual productions of The Nutcracker, a dynamic mix of classical and contemporary works in the fall and spring, and grand classical productions each Valentine's Day.

Ballet Frontier is proud to be a member of the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Roster for 2026–2027, bringing high-caliber performances to communities across the state. The company tours The Nutcracker to several Texas cities each year, including a celebrated collaboration with the Waco Symphony Orchestra.

Beyond the stage, Ballet Frontier is deeply committed to making the art of ballet accessible to all—especially under-served populations. Outreach initiatives include Dance Without Borders, Nutcracker School Shows (presenting Act II of The Nutcracker to area Title I schools), and My First Ballet (bringing a 20-minute excerpt from upcoming shows and interactive Q&A sessions directly to local schools). Collaborations with the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra as well as I.M. Terrell Chamber Orchestra further enrich the cultural landscape, combining live music and dance in unforgettable performances.

From professional productions to impactful educational outreach, Ballet Frontier works to ensure that the beauty, discipline, and joy of dance are accessible to audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and communities.
