Did you know that when your child is in the hospital, their food is included in the stay - but food for the caregivers is not?

Sadly, parents losing weight and skipping meals is common while caring for their child in the hospital. The Co-Founders of Feeding Families Foundation experienced this first hand when their daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. Paying for each meal can add up quickly and parents rarely want to leave their child’s bedside to find food.

Money spent on food in the hospital should go to other things: bills, mortgages, gas, groceries, child care for other children, etc. Feeding Families Foundation’s goal is to alleviate some of the financial strain placed on parents when their child is admitted. We do not require forms to prove a financial need. No matter your situation, Feeding Families Foundation believes you should be provided food everyday, delivered to the hospital room so you do not have to leave your child’s bedside or spend money on food.

Thanks to generous donors like you, families have one less thing to worry about. Parents face significant - life changing - disruptions, financially and emotionally, due to their child’s hospitalization. By providing the basic need of food to caregivers during this tumultuous time, you are helping enable them to be the best caregiver possible for their child.
