Feisty Felines specializes in helping cats who are outside, primarily in Thurston County (though our fosters are located across multiple counties). We TNR (trap, neuter, return) any that are feral and make every effort to help any kittens who are young enough to socialize, as well as any adults who are friendly enough to be adoptable. We rescue hundreds of cats every year and rely on our team of fosters to house cats while they are vetted and socialized.

We also partner with the Washington Corrections Center for Women (in Gig Harbor) to foster many of our rescue cats. Qualified incarcerated women are given the opportunity to participate in the foster program and care for a cat or kittens until adoption. This program started in 2022 has been shown to be rewarding for both the cats and the fosters.

In addition, we provide community access to low cost spay/neuter appointments for owned pets. ,We also facilitate a limited voucher program for spay/neuter assistance in Pierce County.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By placing a bid, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Auction Dates

The auction will open on August 11th and close on Friday, August 21st, at 8pm Pacific Time. Bids must be submitted before the stated closing time to be considered.

2. Bidding

All bids are considered binding commitments to purchase the item at the amount bid. Please review each item description carefully before placing a bid. Bids cannot be withdrawn or canceled once submitted.

Feisty Felines admin reserves the right to remove or reject any bids that appear fraudulent, suspicious, or otherwise inconsistent with these terms.

3. Winning bids

The highest valid bid at the close of the auction will be the winning bid. In the event of a tie, the bid received first will be considered the winning bid.

Winners will be notified using the contact information provided when bidding.

4. Payment

Payment must be received within 48 hours of notification that you have won (in other words, by Sunday evening August 23rd.

Accepted payment methods are:

Cash or check (if picking up in person)

If payment is not received within the required timeframe, the auction organizer reserves the right to cancel the winning bid and offer the item to the next highest bidder or otherwise determine how the item will be handled.

5. Pickup & Delivery:

Pickup: Items may be picked up in South Tacoma by appointment. Hand delivery in Tacoma may be possible on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery: Shipping will be free for any item that reaches at least $50. If bidding does not reach $50 on any item, it may be picked up for free, or bidder will be responsible for a flat rate shipping charge in addition to the winning bid. Shipping is a flat rate of$10 for all items except jewelry (donated by Fern + Fir), block art prints (donated by Missy Maxwell), and the cat tree (donated by WTW Pet Products). Jewelry and block art prints are a flat rate $5 shipping charge. These shipping charges will not apply if bids reach at least $50 on any given item. The cat scratching post is too large to ship, so it must be delivered or picked up locally, in the Tacoma area.

Pick up or delivery will not happen until payment is received (unless paying cash/check at pick up).

6. Item Description:

Items are donated to the auction are offered as described. The auction organizer makes every reasonable effort to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, values, restrictions, expiration dates, and other relevant information.

Donated items may be subject to restrictions, such as blackout dates, expiration dates, geographic limitations, reservations, or other conditions imposed by the donor or provider. Bidders are responsible for reviewing the complete item description before bidding.

7. Gift Certificates & Experiences

Gift Certificates, services, experiences, or other promotional items are subject to the terms and conditions established by the issuing business or donor. The auction organizer is not responsible for restrictions imposed by the provider, including expiration dates, blackout dates, availability, or changes to the provider's policies.

8. No Returns or Refunds

All auction sales are final. No returns, exchanges, refunds, or cancellations will be provided except where required by applicable law or where the auction organizer determines that an item was materially misrepresented.

9. Auction Changes

The auction organizer reserves the right to correct errors, modify an item listing, withdraw an item, extend or shorten the auction, or cancel the auction when circumstances require it.

10. Proceeds

Auction proceeds with benefit Feisty Felines and will be used to support its charitable mission.

11. Questions
