Where It All Began

Finn's story is one of courage, resilience, and the fierce, unconditional love of a family facing the unthinkable. From the very beginning, the Grays leaned on the people around them — and the people around them refused to let them down.

Enter the Rosenberg family.

When the Grays needed a village, the Rosenbergs helped build one. Year after year, they have poured their time, their energy, and their hearts into making sure the Gray family — and families just like them — never have to face pediatric cancer alone. Through fundraising events, creative marketing efforts, and an unwavering commitment to this cause, the Rosenbergs have turned compassion into action and friendship into something truly powerful.

Finn's Fighters was born from that bond — a testament to what happens when one family's love for another refuses to stay quiet.

Years of Showing Up

What started as a community rallying around one family has grown into a mission that reaches far beyond. Since their serendipitous meeting and learning Jim and Matt are from neighboring Boston towns, year after year, the Rosenbergs have organized, promoted, and championed this cause — bringing new supporters into the fold and ensuring that the momentum never fades.

Through their dedication, Finn's Fighters has:

Provided direct financial relief to families drowning in medical bills and treatment-related expenses
Funded practical support — gas cards, grocery gift cards, and hotel stays near treatment centers — so parents can stay focused on their child
Connected families to emotional support and to others who truly understand the road they're on
Brought moments of joy and normalcy back to kids and siblings whose lives have been turned upside down
Grown a community of donors, volunteers, and advocates who show up every single year

The Rosenbergs didn't just write a check. They rolled up their sleeves and kept going — and because of them, so many others have too.

The Need Is Real — and It's Urgent

Pediatric cancer remains one of the most underfunded areas of medical research. In the United States alone, approximately 15,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year. For those families, the financial, emotional, and physical toll is staggering. Many face impossible choices — quit a job to be at the bedside, or keep the lights on. Travel hours for specialized treatment, or risk getting less than their child deserves.

Finn's Fighters exists to soften those impossible edges. To say: we see you, we're here, and you don't have to choose.

The Gray family knows what it means to receive that kind of support. Now, together, we have the chance to extend it to every family in our community who needs it.

This Is Where You Come In

Right now, families are sitting in hospital rooms, staring at mounting bills, wondering how they're going to hold it all together. Your donation — whatever the size — becomes a meal on a doorstep. A gas tank filled. A sibling who gets to go to summer camp and just be a kid for a little while. A family that feels, maybe for the first time in a long time, that they are not alone.

The Rosenberg family has shown us what it looks like to commit to something year after year, not because it's easy, but because it matters. Now it's our turn to show up too.

Finn's Fighters is more than a fundraiser. It is a promise — renewed every year by a community that refuses to let its most vulnerable families fight alone.

Join the fight. Honor the journey. Give hope.
