WHO IS AUSOME INDY? WHAT DOES COCKTAILS FOR A CAUSE SUPPORT?

Ausome Indy, a volunteer-led nonprofit established in 2019, is proudly celebrating its fifth year of impactful service as a 501(c)(3) organization on April 19, 2024. Ausome Indy is dedicated to our mission of supporting children with autism and empowering families to thrive in their homes and together in our communities.

We are proud to provide personalized sensory and communication support, both at home and in classrooms, particularly focusing on children in foster care transitions and those on the Medicaid family support waitlist. Ausome Indy's inclusive approach extends its services to any Hoosier family in need, ensuring that no child is left without the necessary support to thrive.

One of our favorite areas of service is our Ausome Indy sensory-friendly events, which have welcomed between 50 to 200 ausome families per event and over 1,000 annually. These gatherings are offered free of charge to the ausome community, made possible through generous donations from donors who care. These events not only provide safe and understanding spaces for children with autism but also foster a sense of belonging and joy among families.

Ausome Indy cherishes and nurtures our Ausome Indy Moms network, a vibrant community of over 250 mothers. This network provides a platform for moms to connect, share experiences, and celebrate their unique journeys with their ausome children. Through monthly meet-ups, sensory studio activities, dinners, support conversations, and resource coaching, Ausome Indy ensures these mothers receive the support, camaraderie, and empowerment they deserve.

As Ausome Indy reflects on its five years of service, the organization remains committed to its vision of supporting and empowering Ausome families in Indiana. With empathy, connection, and a wealth of resources, Ausome Indy strives to reach out to the more than 40,000 children with autism in the state, aiming to touch the lives of as many ausome families as possible through its dedicated mission. We look forward to our second annual Cocktails for a Cause event with our closest friends and advocates where we can celebrate our connections, impact and our commitment to the work ahead of us in 2024!
